American Oak

American Oak is America’s favourite hardwood. Processed in Victoria, it is handpicked be region and colour then cut and graded to match Australia’s timber requirements. Very clean in nature with consistent colouring and circular grain. Popular product in flooring, joinery, furniture and staircases.

Durian

Durian is a fruit tree grown in South East Asia, as the trees mature the timber becomes suitable to harvest and is suited for staircase manufacturing. Very popular product throughout Queensland due to its density, consistent grain and colour.

Rubberwood

Traditionally throughout South East Asia, rubber trees were tapped for their latex and then burned when they are no longer of use. Thankfully today, we harvest those trees and finger join the timber to manufacture pre-primed window reveals. It is also used extensively in imported furniture.

Meranti

A very popular light hardwood from South East Asia, Meranti has long been used in the joinery market due to its affordability as well as its consistent colour and straight grain. Meranti is lighter in density making it an easy product to work with.

Merbau

Blurb: The most sturdy and durable of our imported hardwoods from South East Asia, Merbau has been commonly known as one of the favourites in the decking market, Merbau is also perfect for and popular in the staircase, window and door industry. Its density makes it suitable for BAL29 joinery and is also suitable for fire escape stairs. Coming in a deep dark red/brown colour Merbau paints and stains well.
