Eucalyptus Grandis is a fast-growing Plantation Hardwood. Despite being an Australian species originally, we find the best growing conditions have been in Uruguay. We then process, rip and grade into Australian sizes and manageable packs in our purpose-built facility in Melbourne.
We then laminate and dress into our traditional staircase components as well, everything from treads & stringers right through to handrails and posts. An ideal replacement for the dwindling Victorian Ash timber. It is excellent to work with and stains very well.
